Noah's 2nd grade musical

Noah's music class at Sollars Elementary performed songs from the musical, It's a Jungle Out There! Noah had a speaking part as a hyena, and got to tell a joke. It was really cute.

Yochien open house, February 2010

A few videos from Alex and Ian's school open house in Febraury. Alex is singing a song about snow. I'm actually not sure what Ian is doing hanging on the bar in the gym--I guess it's some sort of exercise. Funny!

Our Appi ski weekend, February 2010

Over President's Day weekend we went skiing at Appi ski resort, about 2 hours away. It's one of our favorite resorts, with lots of runs, both easy and challenging. We stayed at the hotel on the resort, right on the slopes.

Christmas 2009

A few pictures from Christmas. The boys were up very early, no surprise there. They all got coal in their stockings from Santa--they had been very naughty the week before Christmas. They knocked over a 32 inch TV at Chris' work Christmas potluck, not to mention other bad behavior! They did not seem fazedby it at all--the first thing Alex said was, "Cool! Now we can make a fire and stay warm!" At least he's an optimist. At Christmas Mass, Noah also served as an altar server for the very first time! The priest he served for is a little demanding...he told Noah he had to work on it a bit, but overall I thought he did pretty well for his first time serving. We had friends the Frosts and Lewises over for Christmas dinner. Thomas was not happy the whole day, but we survived!
